So what's with the name?

Perhaps some of you found yourselves muttering this as you stumbled across my page. You may have clicked on my blog because you’re currently at work and looking for an excuse to pass the time or maybe you’re just sitting in the comfort of your home and have been intrigued by the name and were curious to know what it’s all about. Regardless of how you have arrived welcome to my reality - my passion. I invite you to stay a while, relax, perhaps learn a little and see if anything I have to say resonates with you.

I’ll go into more detail about name of the blog in future posts, but for now I would like to take this opportunity to explain to you who I am and what you can expect from this blog.

My name is Dan. I am 27 years old and have moved to sunny Perth (from Newcastle) in the last 12 months. I am a self confessed self help and coaching junkie. I have read close to 100 books on the subject and am a certified NLP Practitioner.

My goal with this blog is to educate others on Nero Linguistic Programming (NLP) and its benefits. I will introduce the reader to an array of different techniques that are not only fast and effective but also practical and simple to do on you own. The blog will not only cover NLP but also other disciplines in an attempt to get you thinking; to assist you to take a step back from whatever position you are currently in and see things from a different angle or in a new light. The beautiful thing about NLP and the other areas that this blog will cover is that everything that I discuss can be used by all ages - regardless of what stage you are at in your life. The techniques are quick and results orientated often only taking a few sessions  - and at times only minutes to assist you to make a shift in your thinking. A shift that will allow you to make a dramatic change in how you see yourself, helping you to become more attuned to the potential and possibilities that lie within you.

I will leave you with one last thing. All I ask is that you come with an open mind - read the posts - see how the information sits with you. Try on some of the ideas presented to see how they fit - take what works and disregard the rest. Only YOU will know what will benefits you. Take everything that I say with a pinch of salt not as gospel - after all there is no truth in this world. But that's something we will discuss in the next post...
